Andrea Herran, Owner
Andrea Herran has 20+ years’ experience as a true human resources generalist. Her background includes handling the people side of three international hotel launches, where she moved a business from zero to 300 employees handling pay rates and benefits, hiring and training, and equipping managers to lead their new teams. Back in the States she established from scratch the HR function in several small businesses. For the past six years she has consulted to small businesses exclusively.
Knowledgeable and experienced in the full spectrum of HR activities, Andrea’s passion is helping businesses achieve success through their people. She works alongside entrepreneurs, managers and owners, listening to their stories, assessing their needs and delivering more than expected.
She firmly believes that the HR function of any business only adds value when it supports the company goals, bolsters employee morale and ensures legal compliance. That’s why understanding her clients’ business strategies and markets, the unique challenges they are facing and goals they are trying to achieve is as at the core of Focus HR’s work.
